Ron G. Alcorn

General Manager, Comfort Inn Blacksburg

Ron is a graduate of Ferrum College (1991) in Ferrum VA. After college he worked for the company in various capacities including several years managing Leisure Lanes in Pulaski, before deciding to pursue opportunities outside the family business. Prior to rejoining the company in 2010 he was self-employed for seven years as an independent mortgage broker, and retains a multi-state license as a Loan Officer.

Ron came back to Park Real Estate in 2010 to direct the company's marketing and sales operations, specifically focused on tenant recruitment and tenant retention, arguably the most critical functions in maintaining stability and profitability of a real estate portfolio. His dedication to customer service was made evident by his first initiative in his new position; offering a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for each and every tenant. In 2011 Ron was chosen to be the General Manager of the sole hotel in the company's portfolio, the Comfort Inn Blacksburg. He immediately implemented the same 100% Satisfaction Guarantee policy to hotel guests. The positive response is undeniable; under Ron's direction the property has shown consistent improvement each year culminating in the hotel's highest all time revenue in 2015.

Ron is past President of the Montgomery County-Blacksburg Kiwanis Club and is a longtime member of the Hokie Club.
